In this Dividend Focus report, I highlight a company with a strong track record of dividend growth, that offers a nice risk reward profile for long term investors. It also doesn’t hurt my feelings that the company does a great job of treating its workers well.
Valuations are very rich, meaning that, on the whole, stocks are being priced with a high degree of optimism. The Shiller PE ratio is currently at 24.81. Let’s try to put that into perspective. In May of 1969, when Warren Buffett wrote a letter to his investment partners telling them, basically, that he was dissolving his partnership because he could no longer find stocks that were attractively valued, the Shiller PE measure stood at 20.97.
